CLIENT: Coles
THEME: Down Down Pointing Finger Custom Bucking Bull
Who doesn’t know Coles’ ‘Down Down Prices are Down’ promotion? Coles, a valued and long standing client, commissioned us to make the bucking hand as a showcase for their very successful marketing promotions. It appeared on commercials, at sporting events, in store promotions, store product launches across the state, even as far as Deniliquin. It was part of the cricket’s big bash competitions which saw one lucky winner win their own backyard event featuring the Cole’s Hand. The inflatable base was custom made in Coles colours and designed to fit into smaller locations.
The hand itself was made by our talented production team who had to make an exact replica of the Coles hand and then specifically design it to fit the mechanical equipment, also ensuring the safety of the rider. It was a huge promotion which Action Events was proud to be a part of.
CLIENT: Microhire Evoke for AFLW Best and Fairest W Awards Night
THEME: Custom Built Set pieces
Action Events were so excited to be involved with the inaugural AFLW Best and Fairest Awards, the AFLW’s equivalent of the Brownlow medal through our long time collaborators at Microhire Evoke. Sleek and stylish black set pieces with striking custom branding played host to fabulous florals by our friends at Decor It.

VENUE: Crown Palladium
THEME: Visy Recycling 70th Birthday celebrations
Our challenge was to showcase Visy’s own recycled products in an artful and creative way. What better way than to create artworks from them and display them in show cases! Custom built perspex arches and pillars were filled with sculptural, textural and tonal displays featuring the philosophies of Innovation, Sustainability and Excellence. Cellaire, bubble wrap, recycled paper, plastics, tins, milk cartons and corrugated cardboard transformed into beautiful and intriguing feature pieces. Even Richard Pratt himself returned to celebrate this important milestone.
CLIENT: ID Collective for Uniqlo
VENUE: Federation Square THEME: Custom built fun zone inside shipping containers
This custom job was challenging with the extremely limited time frame but thanks to our dedicated
staff, and our client, we pulled it off to great success. Our creative client ID Collective had the vision and asked us to help pull it all together. Who
knew you could do so much with just shipping containers ! We helped create fun zone inside a number of renovated shipping containers. One was
a custom designed clear jumping castle made to mimic the look of a puffer vest, the second a mirrored container full of colorful giant led balls and thirdly a fantastic waterfall wall. It was an awesome campaign and great fun was had my all
CLIENT: Liberty Financial
THEME: Custom built skill tester, Claw machine for Doughnut wall
The way to a client’s heart is through their stomach, or so the saying goes. Liberty Financial worked with Action Events to provide both a literal and more diet friendly interpretation of the saying. Customers were invited to try out their skills on our custom branded claw machine to win a plushie doughnut. A great hit and fabulous marketing opportunity

Do you have a giant tennis racket and tennis ball? This was the question asked by AMP when they needed to replace their usual Australian Open event with a static display due to refurbishment. Well we didn’t then, but we sure do now! Need a specific prop for a custom display? We can make it happen.
